Overnight Traffic Impacts Thursday, November 20, in New Haven; I-95 Northbound off-ramp to I-91 Northbound (Exit 48) to be Closed
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that construction activities related to roadway construction are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor during the overnight of Thursday, November 20, 2014.
The I-95 Northbound off-ramp to I-91 Northbound (Exit 48) will be closed and detoured during the overnight of Thursday, November 20, 2014. For detour information and alternate routes, please visit www.i95newhaven.com. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.
These construction activities are necessary to facilitate roadway construction as work progresses on the Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge, Reconstruction of the I-95 / I-91 / Route 34 Interchange and other projects that are part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program.
