Resurfacing Project, Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) in Ellington
The project consists of resurfacing a 2.31 mile segment of Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) in Ellington. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 to Thursday, May 29, 2014.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) between Route 83 (Somers Road) to the Tolland town line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
