Southbound I-95 Exit 14 Off Ramp Traffic Shift Scheduled June 9th
The shift is scheduled to take place, June 9, 2014. The shift will allow construction crews to complete the widening of the exit ramp. This project will improve the lane width and merge-distance on I-95 at Exits 14 & 15 as well as improve the drainage in the area. This work involves the widening of the southbound I-95 Exit 14 off ramp. Motorists will experience periodic ramp closures while ramp traffic is being shifted onto the recently reconstructed portion of the ramp.
Lane Closure Info-
Work on the ramp will take place weekdays
and nights from Tuesday May 27, to Monday June 9, behind
barrier. The southbound I-95 Exit 14 off-ramp traffic will be halted intermittently for not more than 10 minutes at a
time for the traffic shift on June 9, 2014.
Regular Lane
Closure hours for I-95 are as follows:
Northbound 9:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday thru Wednesday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Thursday
night into Friday morning, and 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Friday night in to Saturday
morning.
Southbound 9:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday thru Thursday, and 10:00 pm to 7:00 am Friday night
in to Saturday morning.
Variable message
signs on Interstate 95 will be utilized to advise motorists of traffic
conditions in the area. Motorists should be
aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary
due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
