Traffic Signal Repair on Route 4/I-84 Connector in Farmington

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the maintenance of a traffic signal light, including the installation of signal loop detectors on Route 4/I-84 Westbound Connector in Farmington. The work will be done between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect various lanes being shut down for a short period of time.  Traffic will still be able to flow.  The Avon Maintenance Garage is supplying traffic control personnel and signing patterns which will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
