I-95 Northbound Norwalk Exit 14 Off Ramp Detour at Reed Street to Begin Next Week
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a detour of traffic on Reed Street at the intersection of the I-95 Exit 14 Northbound off-ramp, beginning May 18, 2015.
DETOUR AND LANE CLOSURE INFO-
As part of the reconstruction work for the Fairfield Avenue Bridge, the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Reed Street at the end of the I-95 Exit 14 Northbound off-ramp will be reconstructed, requiring a detour. Eastbound Reed Street traffic from the I-95 Northbound Exit 14 off-ramp will be allowed single lane access to Reed Street during the detour. Westbound traffic from Stuart Avenue will be detoured to Fairfield Avenue.

This detour will be in place daily, Monday through Friday, beginning May 18, 2015 from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. It will be in place for two weeks, weather permitting, but excluding the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Variable message signs on Interstate 95 will be utilized to advise motorists of traffic conditions in the area. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
