The controlled removal of rock is scheduled to occur over several months, likely extending into 2016. The work is part of the widening of I-84 to add a third lane in each direction and for the relocation of the western end of Reidville Drive adjacent to Harpers Ferry Road.
LANE CLOSURE INFO- Slow moving roadblocks will be used to facilitate the halting of traffic and motorists can expect significant delays in the area.
During blasting operations, traffic on I-84 in both directions as well as traffic on adjacent ramps and roadways will be halted for 5 to 10 minute intervals between the hours of 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
Variable message signs will be used to provide advance warning of event and to provide information on traffic conditions in the area.
