Intermittent Short-Term Highway Closures on I-95 NB and SB in the Vicinity of Exit 30 (Stratford) on November 23, and December 1, 2015
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activities along Interstate 95 Northbound and Southbound near Exit 30 in the town of Stratford will require the implementation of a full highway closure for intermittent periods of 10-minutes during the nighttime hours on November 23, 2015 and December 1, 2015 for removal of existing and installation of new overhead signs and sign supports.
Closures
will occur between the hours of 9:00 pm and 6:00 am. Traffic control personnel and signing
patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zones. Motorists should be aware that modifications
or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or
other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe
speed when driving in this vicinity.
In addition, construction activities associated with the installation of signs along Route 25, I-84 and I-95 in the towns of Fairfield, Bridgeport, Stratford, Milford, Orange, West Haven, Trumbull and Danbury will require the implementation of both day and night time lane restrictions. This work is scheduled to run through December 15, 2015.
DOT Project No. 0173-0351 was awarded to ADF Industries of Berlin with an anticipated completion date of December 15, 2015.
