Milling and Resurfacing along Routes 20 and 401 401 EB in East Granby, Windsor & Windsor Locks
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Routes 20 and 401 Eastbound in East Granby, Windsor and Windsor Locks.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 6.94 mile segment of Routes 20 and 401 E in East Granby, Windsor and Windsor Locks. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur on SSR 401 EB on Monday, August 17, 2015 to Thursday, August 27, 2015. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on State Route 401 on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 to Monday, October 5, 2015.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 20 EB from .07 miles east of East Granby Road to the Windsor Locks town line (eastbound) and SSR 401 from the northbound junction of
Rt. 20 WB to 215’ north of the Park Road underpass. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling segment is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Thursday) and the paving segment is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
