Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along Route 63, New Haven

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will be performed on the Route 63 West River overpass in New Haven beginning on the evening of Thursday, September 3, 2015.

      The project consists of bridge maintenance to the Route 63 West River overpass in New Haven.

This project is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 to the morning of Friday, September 25, 2015. No work will be done On Friday, September 4, 2015 and Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane restrictions on Route 63 in New Haven over West River.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Monday–Friday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
