Daytime Lane Closure is scheduled for I-95 Northbound between Exits 13 & 11 Left Shoulder and the High Speed Lane on Wednesday, October 28
This repair work is within the limits of the pavement preservation project along I-95. The project begins at log mile 10.67 (Exit 10) and ends at log mile 15.91 (Exit 15) in both the Northbound and Southbound directions. The project consists of micro milling 2.5” of the wearing surface and replacing it with 3” of Polymer Modified Asphalt. Also, replacement of the top 2” of the wearing surface on all ramps within the project limits.
CTDOT Project No. 35-195 was awarded to O&G Industries, Inc. of Torrington CT on March 17, 2015 at a cost of $14,488,177.50 with an official start date of April 30, 2015 and an anticipated completion date of November 09, 2015. This project is administered by the Office of Construction – District 3, New Haven.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
I-95 NB between Exits 13 and 11, October 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday thru Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
