Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in East Haven

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will be performed on the I-95 northbound US 1 and Amtrak overpass in East Haven beginning Monday, August 17, 2015, at 9 p.m.

      The project consists of bridge maintenance on the I-95 NB, US 1 & Amtrak overpass in East Haven.  This work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 to the morning of Friday, August 28, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95, NB between Exit 51 (US 1) and Exit 53 (SR 794). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Friday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
