Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Milford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the nighttime bridge maintenance project on I-95 in Milford will continue through the morning of Friday, August 21, 2015.

      The project consists of bridge maintenance to the I-95, north- and southbound Plains Road underpass in Milford. Hours are 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95, in Milford between Exit 35 (School House Road) and Exit 37 (High Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Monday–Friday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
