Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-91 in North Haven & Wallingford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will continue on various bridges on I-91, northbound in North Haven and Wallingford through October 30, 2015.  Work hours are 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. There will be no work on Monday, October 12, 2015.

      The bridges are:

·         North Haven–Bridge 3117 over Washington St.

·         North Haven-Bridge 3118 over Pool Rd.

·         Wallingford-Bridge 3121 over Pond Hill Rd.

·         Wallingford-Bridge 3126 over I-91 & TR 807

·         Wallingford-Bridge 3128 over Rt. 150

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Costello Industries.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 NB between Exit 11 US 5 & Route 22 and Exit 68 in North Haven/Wallingford.

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
