Nighttime I-95 Bridge Maintenance in Bridgeport

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge maintenance will be performed on various bridges on I-95 southbound in Bridgeport during the month of August.

      The work consists of bridge maintenance from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday August 2, 2015 to the morning of Monday, August 31, 2015, on the following bridges:

·         Bridge 00130 over Church Street

·         Bridge 00129 over West Broad Street

·         Bridge 00128 over Stratford Avenue

·         Bridge 00127 over South Avenue

·         Bridge 00125 over Moffit Street

·         Bridge 124 over Stagg Street

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 SB between Exit 29 (Stratford Avenue), and

Exit 35 (Bic Drive) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
