Nighttime Milling & Resurfacing Continues on Route 2 in Bozrah & Lebanon

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime roadway milling & resurfacing will be performed on Route 2 westbound in Bozrah and Lebanon through August 28, 2015. 

      The project consists of milling & resurfacing a 1.48 mile segment of Route 2. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 2 WB from the Camp Moween Rd. overpass in Bozrah to the Polly Brook overpass in Lebanon.  Two (2) State troopers, overhead variable message boards, crash attenuator vehicle(s), and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday-Saturday). The regular work schedule for the resurfacing project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Friday). 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
