Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing along I-395 in Montville

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime milling and resurfacing will be performed on I-395 southbound in Montville, September 11-12, 2015

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.28 mile segment of I-395 SB in Montville.  The repair project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 to the morning of Saturday, September 12, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect the closure of the high-speed lane & shoulder on I-395 SB

at 160 feet south of the Exit 79 on ramp for approximately 1,500 feet in Montville. Two State Troopers, overhead variable message boards, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The nighttime work schedule for this repair project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Friday - Saturday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
