Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing on Rt. 100 & SR 735 in East Haven

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Rt. 100 (High Street) and SR 735 (Saltonstall Parkway) in East Haven beginning Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

      The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.61 mile segment of Rt. 100 in East Haven and a 0.21 mile segment of SR 735 in East Haven. The milling segment of this project will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015 to the morning of Tuesday, August 25, 2015. The resurfacing segment of this project will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 to the morning of Thursday, August 27, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 100 from Park Place to the beginning of the

US 1 & Amtrak (#06293) overpass and on SR 735 from US 1 (Saltonstall Parkway) to

Route 100 (High Street). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Thursday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
