Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project, I-84 EB, in Middlebury and Waterbury

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.6-mile segment of I-84 eastbound in Middlebury and Waterbury, June 2 through October 23, 2015.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 E/B between Long Meadow Rd. and the Waterbury, Middlebury Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Wednesday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
