Public Information Meeting Regarding Intersection Improvements on Route 66, Route 196 and Old Marlborough Road in East Hampton
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a public information meeting regarding intersection improvements on Route 66, Route 196 and Old Marlborough Road will held on Thursday April 30, 2015, at 7:00 pm., in the Community Room, at the East Hampton Library.
Officials associated with the construction
project will present a short informational meeting on the anticipated
staging of the construction work and construction schedule.
The project consists of the reconstruction
of the roadway at the intersections of Route 66 and Route 196 and Route 66 and
the western end of Old Marlborough Road. The work includes new drainage structures,
elimination of the island at the intersection of Route 66 and 196, and new
traffic signals. New sidewalks and driveway aprons will also be installed.

Project No. 41-113 was awarded to Red Technologies, LLC, of Bloomfield, CT at a
cost of $2,296, 165.10 on September
30, 2014 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2015.
