Rehabilitation of Route 6 Bridge Over the Pequabuck River in the Town of Plymouth
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activity will begin on April 17, 2015 for Rehabilitation of Bridge #000471 that carries U.S. Route 6 over the Pequabuck River.
The project consists of the concrete deck
repairs, full depth road construction to add an eastbound turning lane to Route
72, new traffic signals and drainage improvements.
DOT Project No. 0110-0130 was awarded to NJR Construction LLC
of Terryville, CT at a cost of $1,225,631.48 on March 4, 2015 and is scheduled to
be completed in April, 2016.

Daily closures with alternating
one-way traffic may occur on Route 72 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and on Route 6
at night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. following day.
