Road Work - Route 4 Farmington from Garden Street to Mountain Spring Road
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Town of Farmington is conducting a Sewer replacement project for a section of sanitary sewer main along Farmington Avenue (Route 4) that will begin just west of Garden Street and will end at Mountain Spring Road. The project is under way and is anticipated to be complete in January 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
The work will reduce the number of lanes on Route 4 between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Alternating one-way traffic should be expected during these hours. During daytime hours the contractor will be allowed to work in such a manner that does not impact Route 4 traffic.
Please be aware that there may be operations or conditions that cause minor traffic delays through the work area. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.
Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
