Traffic Shift Scheduled for Route 1 in Norwalk March 19, 2015
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is continuing the improvements of Interstate 95 and Route 1 in Norwalk. As part of this work, the northbound and southbound lanes of Route 1 will be shifted between the Exit 14 ramp and Fairfield Avenue to accommodate future drainage, utility and sidewalk work.

Alternating lane shifts from 9am to 3pm will take place during the daytime on both Westbound and Eastbound directions on Thursday, March 19th, 2015 (weather permitting).
Motorists should be prepared for delays the day of the shift while the work is proceeding. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.
