Crack & Joint Sealing along I-395 Northbound in Plainfield and Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a crack and joint sealing project will be performed on I-395 Northbound in Plainfield and Killingly, beginning Monday, August 29, 2016. 

The project consists of cleaning and sealing a 5.47 mile segment of I-395 on the northbound shoulder of the low-speed lane in Plainfield and Killingly.  The crack and joint sealing project is scheduled to occur from Monday, August 29, 2016, through Wednesday, August 31, 2016. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-395 northbound between the northbound access   service area in Plainfield to the Whetstone Bridge overpass in Killingly.  Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Wednesday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
