The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that activities related to roadway construction are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor from Monday, May 9, through Thursday, May 12, 2016. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.
There will be lane closures on I-95 Southbound throughout the Traffic Shift. The Route 34 Eastbound off-ramp to I-95 Southbound, and the I-95 Southbound off-ramp to Sargent Drive, will be closed and detoured from 10 PM Monday, May 9 to 5 AM Tuesday, May 10; and again from 10 PM Wednesday, May 11 to 5 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016. Beginning at 5 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016, motorists should expect three operational thru-lanes of I-95 Southbound, traffic over the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge and extending through the Long Wharf area. For detour information and alternate routes, please visit www.i95newhaven.com. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues.
