Herbicidal Spraying Project in Eastern Connecticut

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a herbicidal spraying project will be performed in Eastern Connecticut beginning Monday, July 11, 2016.

      This project consists of herbicidal spraying of approximately 178 acres under various guide rail locations on various secondary routes.  This work is scheduled to occur from Monday, July 11, 2016, through Friday, August 12, 2016. 

      This work is being performed by TruGreen. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (weekdays). 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
