- I-84 WATERBURY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE –
I-84 Eastbound Exit 23 On-Ramp New Temporary Configuration Begins Thursday Night
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the I-84 Eastbound Exit 23 on ramp new temporary configuration will begin Thursday night, November 10, from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
Thursday night, November 10, there will be a change to the I-84 eastbound on-ramp from McMahon and Baldwin Streets in downtown Waterbury. The ramp will originate on the far left lane of the existing ramp, and traffic will enter I-84 eastbound just west of Hamilton Avenue Bridge.
The existing on ramp, which enters I-84 eastbound just east of Hamilton Avenue, will remain open for one more week, when it will be temporarily closed for bridge construction.
Signage for all lanes will be posted.
