Milling and Resurfacing along Route 75 in Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 75 in Windsor began Monday, July 25, 2016.
The project consists of resurfacing a 4.00 mile segment of Route 75 in Windsor.
The milling segment of this project is scheduled to begin at Route 159 (Broad Street) on
Monday, July 25, 2016 to Thursday, August 4, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin at Route 159 (Broad Street) on Monday, August 8, 2016 to Friday, August 19, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 75 from Route 159 (Broad Street) to the end of the Farmington River overpass. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling and resurfacing is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday). The 1st day of both milling and paving on Route 159 (Broad Street) is scheduled to begin at 3:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
