Milling and Resurfacing on Route 160 in Rocky Hill
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 160 in Rocky Hill, beginning Monday, August 29, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.36 mile segment of roadway. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to begin at the west bank of the Connecticut River on Monday, August 29, 2016 to Friday, September 2, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin at the west bank of the Connecticut River on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, to Monday, September 12, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 160 in Rocky Hill from the beginning of the overpass of I-91 Southbound to the west bank of the Connecticut River. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the resurfacing is 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
