Milling and Resurfacing on Route 66 in East Hampton & Marlborough
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 66 in East Hampton and Marlborough beginning Thursday, August 11, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.52 mile segment of Route 66 in East Hampton and Marlborough. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur from Thursday, August 11, 2016, through Friday, August 19, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Monday, August 29, 2016, through Friday, September 9, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 66 between Route 196 in East Hampton to a 0.13 mile segment west of the Marlborough Village Green. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
