Milling and Resurfacing Project along Route 322 (Meriden Waterbury Tpke.) in Southington and Cheshire
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 322 (Meriden-Waterbury Tpke.) in Southington and Cheshire, beginning Monday, August 15, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.40 mile segment of Route 322 (Meriden-Waterbury Tpke.) in Southington and Cheshire. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to begin at the underpass of Route 10 (Cheshire Road) to the I-691 EB access ramp on Monday, August 15, 2016 to Friday, August 19, 2016. The resurfacing of this project is anticipated to begin at the underpass of Route 10 (Cheshire Road) to the I-691 EB access ramp on Monday, August 22, 2016 to Monday, August 29, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 322 (Meriden Waterbury Tpke.) from the underpass of Route 10 (Cheshire Road) to the I-691 EB access ramp. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling and resurfacing is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
