Milling and Resurfacing Project along Route 44 in Salisbury and North Canaan
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 44 in Salisbury and North Canaan beginning Monday, August 29, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 5.61 mile segment of Route 44, in the towns of Salisbury and North Canaan. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, August 29, 2016 to Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 44 between Dutchers Bridge and Bissel St. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
