Milling and Resurfacing Project along Route 58 in Bethel and Redding
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 58 in Bethel and Redding beginning Monday, August 1, 2016.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.81 mile segment of Route 58, in Bethel and Redding. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, August 1, 2016 through Monday, August 29, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 58 between Route 107 and Rt. 302. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
Thursday, August 18, 2016 paving begins at night for one night only, from the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The remainder of paving will be during the day.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
