The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.53 mile segment of Route 1 in Old Lyme.  Work is scheduled to occur Tuesday, April 19, 2016 through Monday, May 2, 2016. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur from Tuesday, April 19, 2016 through Monday, April 25, 2016.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Tuesday, April 26, 2016 through Monday, May 2, 2016.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 1 in Old Lyme between Halls Road and the Old Lyme Fire Dept.   Two Old Lyme Police Officers, one traffic controller, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The work schedule for the milling and resurfacing projects is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
