Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 6 Eastbound in Mansfield and Windham
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.99 mile segment of Rt. 6 EB in Mansfield and Windham. This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, May 2, 2016, to Friday, July 8, 2016.
The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur from Monday, May 2, 2016, through Friday, May 13, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Monday, June 13, 2016, through Friday, July 8, 2016. No work will be performed from Friday, July 1, 2016 through Tuesday, July 5, 2016, due to the July 4th Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 6 eastbound from the Coventry/Windham town line to US 6 westbound in Windham. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
