Milling and Resurfacing Project on State Route 637 (Lake Hayward Rd.) in Colchester

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on SR 637 (Lake Hayward Rd.) in Colchester through Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.50 mile segment of SR 637 (Lake Hayward Rd.) in Colchester.  The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, October 6, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed from Tuesday, October 11, 2016, through Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 637 (Lake Hayward Rd.) between Rt. 11 to Rt. 354 in Colchester.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, & Wednesday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
