Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-91 in North Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 southbound, Bridge #03117 (Washington St.) overpass in North Haven, beginning Monday, October 24, 2016.

Work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 to the morning of Thursday, October 27, 2016. 

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 bridge maintenance program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91, SB between Exit 12 (US 5) and Exit 10 (Rt. 40) in North Haven.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
