Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95, Greenwich to Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime routine bridge maintenance project will continue on various bridges on I-95 from Greenwich to Westport through the morning of December 16, 2016.  Work hours will be 9 pm to 5 am. Lane closures will be required.

• Greenwich-Bridge #00009 over Arch St
• Stamford-Bridge #00033 over Maple St
• Norwalk-Bridge #03564 over West Ave
• Westport-Bridge #00066 under Hales Rd

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2016 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB between Exit 2 (Louden Street) and

Exit 18 (SSR 476-Sherwood Island Connector)

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
