Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project on I-84 Eastbound in East Hartford
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.02 mile segment of I-84 eastbound in East Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur from Wednesday, May 4, 2016 to Thursday, May 19, 2016. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to occur beginning .03 miles east of the eastbound underpass of TR827 (Exit 55) on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 to Tuesday, May 10, 2016. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 15, 2016 to Thursday, May 19, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 EB beginning .03 miles east of the eastbound underpass of TR 827 (Exit 55) to .16 west of the eastbound Exit to SR 518 (Exit 58 - including ramps). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the milling and resurfacing is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday).
