The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing upcoming nighttime closure of the Southbound on/off ramps, Exit 31 to 35, on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in Stamford and New Canaan on or about Monday 7/18/16 to Thursday 7/21/16, for paving.

The overall project consists of safety improvements, resurfacing, enhancements, and bridge improvements on the Merritt Parkway.

DOT Project No. 0135-0270 was awarded to O&G Industries at a cost of $53,031,742.62 on July 23. 2013 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2016.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 35 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Monday 7/18/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB Exit 34 Long Ridge Rd, left on Long Ridge Rd to rte 15 NB to exit 35 High Ridge Rd.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 35 On Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Monday 7/18/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 NB Exit 36 Old Stamford Rd, Left on Old Stamford Rd , left on Route 15 SB.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 34 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday 7/20/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB to exit 33 Den Rd., left on Bangall Rd, left River Bank Rd, Left at Roxbury Rd, and Left on Den Rd to Route 15 NB on ramp to exit 34 Long Ridge Rd.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 34 On Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Wednesday 7/20/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 NB to exit 35, left on High Ridge Rd, right on cross over (jug handle) to Route 15 SB.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 33 Off Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Thursday 7/21/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic to Route 15 SB to exit 31, Right on North St, left on Route 15 NB, exit 33 Den Rd, right on Roxbury Rd, right on River Bank Rd , right on Bangall Rd, right on Den Rd.

Merritt Parkway Southbound Exit 33 On Ramp:
Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM, Thursday 7/21/16 for paving. A complete detour will be installed to reroute traffic , Left on Bengall Rd , left on River Bank, left on Roxbury Rd, left on Den Rd. to Route 15 NB, exit 34, left on Long Ridge Rd, right on SB Route 15.
