Railroad Crossing Repairs on Route 74 in Willington – Weekend Detour Required
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that railroad crossing repairs will be performed by New England Central and Railworks Tracks Services on Route 74 (Tolland Stage Road) in Willington. The work will require Route 74 to be closed beginning on Friday evening, October 14, at 7 PM, to Monday, October 17, at 5 AM.
Detour Info:
- Eastbound motorists will be detoured onto I-84 East to Exit 70 (River Road) to Route 32 southbound to Route 74.
- Westbound motorists will be detoured onto Route 32 northbound (River Road) to I-84 westbound to Exit 69 (Tolland Stage Road).
- Route 32 southbound motorist will detour on I-84 westbound to exit 69 (Tolland Stage Road).
- Route 32 northbound motorist will be detoured to I-84 westbound to Exit 69 on Route 74.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour.
