Rehabilitation of Bridge 02621 and Replacement of Bridge 02622 Located on Route 110 in Stratford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the rehabilitation of Bridge 02621 (Route 110 over Pumpkin Ground Brook) and the replacement of Bridge 02622 (Route 110 over Freeman Brook) in Stratford, are scheduled to begin on or about April 4, 2016.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Beginning immediately, motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 between the northern terminus of Main Street and Glenavon Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is between the hours 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Beginning on or about April 4, 2016, all southbound traffic on Route 110 will be detoured onto Main Street. Motorist will continue south on Main Street and will reconnect with Route 110 near Pecks Mill Pond. Motorists traveling northbound on Route 110 will not be affected by the detour. This detour will remain in place until mid-October 2016.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
DOT Project No. 138-228 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company, Inc. of Watertown, CT on February 25, 2015 for $3,012,062.00 with an official start date of April 4, 2016 and an anticipated completion date of November, 2016.
