The project involved the replacement of the structure with a new precast concrete box culvert, cast-in-place cutoff walls, wingwalls and parapets.  

The roadway will support two 12-foot lanes, two 8-foot shoulders, and a 4-foot concrete sidewalk.  The roadway approach width, horizontal alignment and vertical alignment will match the existing.  

The contract was awarded to Coastline Construction Corporation of Clinton, Connecticut at a cost of $997,000.00 on April 4, 2016, and is scheduled to be completed in November 2016.

Traffic may experience delays Monday through Friday from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.  Alternating one-way traffic can be expected at all other times including Saturday and Sundays.  
 
Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and to proceed with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
