                              Resurfacing Project along SR 740 in North Branford

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on SR 740 in North Branford, beginning Wednesday, August 10, 2016.

      The project consists of resurfacing a .73 mile segment of SR 740 in North Branford.  This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, August 10, through Friday, August 12.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

      Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 740 from the Branford Town Line to Route 80 (Foxon Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
