Safety Improvement Project on State Route 642 (West Town St.) in Norwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on State Route 642 (West Town St.) in Norwich, beginning Monday, November 21, 2016.
The project consists of a guide rail and attenuator installation on SR 642 (West Town St.) in Norwich. The work will continue through Friday, November 25. No work will be performed on Thursday, November 24, 2016, due to the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
This work is being performed by PGP Group, dba the Atlas Companies.
Vendor to supply Call-Before-You-Dig number for this location.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur at this location. State traffic control personnel will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
