Bridge Maintenance along I-91 Southbound in Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 southbound in Wallingford, beginning Monday, April 17, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-91 SB, Bridge #03130, New Rock Hill Road underpass, in Wallingford.  This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, April 17, 2017 to Friday, April 28, 2017. 

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect left lane closed in the on I-91 SB between Exit 15 (Route 68) and Exit 14

(SR 738 Center Street). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to

3:00 p.m. (Monday–Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
