Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 in Milford, beginning Monday, November 6, 2017.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 Bridge #00150 (Indian River overpass) in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, November 6, 2017 to Tuesday, November 21, 2017. No work will be performed on Friday November 10, 2017 (Veterans Day holiday).

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect delays on I-95 at Exit 40 (Woodmont Rd.) to Exit 39 (US 1) in Milford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
