Guiderail Safety Improvements along Route 17 (Glastonbury Turnpike) in Portland

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a guiderail safety improvement project will be performed on Route 17 (Glastonbury Turnpike) in Portland, Friday, June 9, to Friday, June 16, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 17 (Glastonbury Turnpike) in Portland from

Route 17A (Main St.) to the North Junction of Wilcox Hill Road.  Motorists can expect alternating traffic patterns, flaggers and signing patterns to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (weekdays).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
