Milling, Reclaiming and Resurfacing Project on Winchester Road in Winchester

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling, reclaiming and resurfacing project will be performed on Rt. 263 (Winchester Rd.) in Winchester, beginning Monday, June 5, 2017. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.88 mile segment of Winchester Road from Monday, June 5, to Friday, June 16.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 263 (Winchester Rd.) between Rt. 44 (Main St.) and .1 mile north of Sucker Brook Rd.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
