Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on Route 15 in North Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will continue on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) in North Haven, through Friday, September 15, 2017.

No work will be performed on Thursday, August 31,through Tuesday, September 5, 2017 (Labor Day weekend).

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2017 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect delays on Route 15 at Exit 62 (SR 717) to Exit 63 (Rt. 22) in North Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
