                            Nighttime Resurfacing Project on Universal Drive in North Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a .51-mile segment of Universal Drive in North Haven, beginning Thursday, June 22, through Thursday, July 13, 2017.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a .51 mile segment of SR 715 (Universal Dr.) in North Haven.

This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 to the morning of Thursday, July 13, 2017. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, June 22, 2017 through Saturday, June 24, 2017.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 through Thursday, July 13, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on SR 715 (Universal Dr.) from Universal Drive South to Route 103 (Quinnipiac Avenue).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
